Recycling instructions

This device must not be disposed of with unsorted

household waste. Owners of old devices are required by

law to dispose of this device correctly. Contact your town

council for further information.

Battery and rechargeable battery information

This device comes fi tted with an in-built FDK CR17335-

type lithium battery. Used batteries must not be disposed

of as unsorted household waste. Used batteries must

be recycled and may be returned free-of-charge to the place

of sale. Batteries contain substances which are harmful to

the environment and to human health and must therefore be

disposed of correctly. The battery must be dismantled before

being disposed of. Separate the upper housing from the bottom

housing using a large screwdriver. Using a wire cutters, cut

through the battery contacts and detach the battery using the

screwdriver.

GEV technical warranty

GEV products are tested in accordance with applicable regulations and manufactured with the utmost care. In the event of a

problem, you can contact us through our internet portal or contact our service department directly. The GEV technical warranty

covers the device for 5 years from time of purchase by the end user. The technical warranty can only be honoured if the device is

presented to the retailer in a complete and unaltered condition along with dated proof of purchase and fully completed warranty

card.

For Germany: Send the device with su cient postage to the GEV Service Center. The address is below and is also listed on

the website: www.gev.de.

All countries excluding Germany: Return the device to your retailer. If you don't have the retailer's contact details, we will

happy to provide you with their name and address. If the warranty claim proves justifi ed, GEV will, within a reasonable period,

either repair the device or replace it. If the claim is unfounded (e.g. because the warranty has expired or the fault is not covered

by warranty), then GEV will attempt to repair the device, keeping costs to a minimum.

In the fi rst 6 months after purchase, the device can be returned to the retailer, who will exchange it if it is in good condition. The

warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, changes caused by environmental factors or damage in transit, or to damage

caused as a result of failure to follow the installation instructions and/or applicable regulations/standards when installing. Any

bulbs or batteries supplied with the device are also not covered by the warranty. GEV shall not be liable for any indirect,

consequential or fi nancial losses.
